Ways to Give to Christian Care Communities and Services
Leaving a Legacy
The Master urged us to invest our treasures in those purposes which will outlive us. Naming Christian Care Communities and Services in your Wills and Estates fulfills this heavenly challenge in a meaningful way. Your legacy will live on in ministry to seniors who might otherwise be forgotten. For more information, please contact Teresa Scott.
There are times in our lives when a simple “Thank You” just cannot fully express the gratitude we feel for someone whose life has impacted us. A memorial and/or honorarium gift to Christian Care Communities and Services not only commemorates your honoree, but also enhances the lives of current residents.
Festival of Trees Gala
As many as 5.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, a devastating dementia for which there is no cure. Treatments for symptoms, combined with appropriate services and support, can improve quality of life for millions of Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
The annual Festival of Trees Gala, which began in 2009, raises awareness and provides funding to enhance and expand Alzheimer’s care and programs at Christian Care Communities and Services. Since 2009, this Gala has raised over $3,000,000.
Black Tie and Blue Jeans Benefit Dinner
Christian Care- Fort Worth opened in late 1982. This campus now serves over 400 senior adults. The Annual “Black Tie and Blue Jeans” Benefit Dinner raises funds for Memory Care and special projects to benefit the residents at Christian Care- Fort Worth.
North Texas Giving Day
North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event for people across the nation to come together to raise as much money as possible for North Texas nonprofits on one day in September.
Christian Care Communities and Services hosts North Texas Giving Day in The Business and Technology Center at Greenway Village on the Mesquite campus. A special project is selected each year for one of the Christian Care Communities and Services for this special Giving Day.
Throughout the three Christian Care Communities and Services campuses there are many needs. Each quarter a special project is highlighted to enhance the lives of the residents we are blessed to serve.
Army of Care
Committed donors have supported and sustained Christian Care’s ministry since 1947. The current Army of Care Program has been designed for you to always remember the residents of Christian Care Communities and Services. In addition to traditional donation methods, we offer the convenience of recurring bank drafts and credit cards for your gifts, which may be arranged through the Advancement office.
The Bucket List Ministry is a partnership between Christian Care Hospice and The Advancement Office of Christian Care Communities and Services. This ministry allows the hospice patient to check off a final wish from their “bucket list”. The latest Bucket List event was in honor of Mr. Jack Perkins, a long-time resident on the Mesquite campus. Mr. Perkins, a WWII Veteran, was honored by the Bucket List Ministry during a flagpole dedication and flag raising ceremony on the Mesquite campus.
The Bucket List Ministry is supported by staff of Christian Care Communities and Services through payroll deduction donations. If you are interested in supporting this ministry, please call The Advancement Office for more information.
Christian Care Hospice provides a new Bible for every patient we are entrusted to serve. If you would like to contribute towards a new Bible purchase, please click on the link below. Bible purchases may be given in honor or in memory of someone dear to you.

The Future is Calling
From our humble beginnings, when faithful men and women saw the need for compassionate Christian care for senior saints, to the present, we have witnessed God’s arms supporting us. We now have three campuses: Allen, Mesquite, and Fort Worth that house and serve approximately 1,500 residents and, with our Home2Stay and Hospice services, we reach more than 800 residents through our “Campuses Without Walls” ministry.
We have been blessed to serve multiple family members of numerous families through the decades. The flame ignited by compassionate men and women of a previous generation is being held high and continues to illuminate our path into the bright future that calls us.
